A brush fire broke out Wednesday in the Antelope Acres near Lancaster and quickly scorched about 15 acres.
The fire was reported at 12:56 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 90th Street West and West Avenue G, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Crews were on the scene seven minutes after getting the call and two water-dropping helicopters were dispatched, according to a department spokeswoman.
