A tractor-trailer hauling a load of hay caught fire on the Foothill (210) Freeway east of the Angeles Crest Highway in Altadena Friday, closing all westbound lanes but one, the California Highway Patrol said.
Video from the scene showed a full load of hay on the trailer, which was ablaze with traffic backed up as Los Angeles County Fire Department crews worked to extinguish the flames.
Traffic proceeded through one lane until about 8 a.m., when a second lane was opened.
