Crews made fast work of a non-injury fire in an apartment in Northridge Tuesday.
The blaze was reported at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday in a five-story building at 9131 N. Darby Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The first-arriving crews encountered heavy smoke coming from the building, but were able to put the fire out in 13 minutes, containing it to a single unit, a department spokeswoman said.
