Four people were displaced Wednesday when a fire damaged a single-story residence in Jurupa Valley.
The non-injury blaze was reported shortly after noon Wednesday in the 6200 block of Corey Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Arriving crews encountered fire and smoke coming from the garage, but the flames were knocked down by 12:25 p.m., according to the agency.
Four people were displaced but did not require assistance from the Red Cross.
Fire crews remained at the scene for an additional two hours to perform salvage and overhaul.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
