A person was displaced after a fire broke out Friday at a singe-story residence in Palm Desert.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 1:39 a.m. Friday in the 40200 block of Bay Hill Way, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency stated arriving crews encountered an attic fire at a duplex, and a second alarm was requested to help douse the flames.
The fire was contained at 2:21 a.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
