Authorities Monday were trying to determine the cause of a fire at a single-story, L-shaped strip mall in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported at 10:32 p.m. Sunday at 3303 W. Pico Blvd., at Van Ness Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart. The fire was out at 10:59 p.m.
Smoke was showing when the first firefighters arrived, he said.
The incident commander requested the Department of Water and Power, Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety and the L.A. County Health Department to come to the scene after the fire was out, Stewart said.
No injuries were reported.
