A “swarm maintenance” scheduled Sunday along three major freeways that feed into the East Los Angeles interchange has been postponed due to rain, Caltrans announced.
The planned cleanup of graffiti, clogged irrigation systems and other maintenance where the Santa Ana (5), San Bernardino (10) and the Hollywood (101) freeways come together will be re-scheduled for a later date.
The idea behind swarm maintenance, Caltrans spokesman Patrick Chandler said, is to get it done quickly to minimize disrupting the flow of traffic.
