Los Angeles County will be offering free flu shots at many public libraries through Nov. 20, health officials announced Tuesday.
This is the second year that the county Public Library and Department of Public Health have offered flu vaccination clinics for people who don’t have health insurance or whose health care provider doesn’t offer flu vaccines.
Vaccinations in the form of a flu shot or nasal spray will be provided by nurses from the Department of Public Health.
Minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive immunization and must be at least six months old.
Dates and library locations can be found at www.colapublib.org/flushot.
