California’s June 7 primary election is obviously drawing near, as Hillary will be here again this week just after Donald departs.
Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton will campaign at East Los Angeles College this coming Thursday, her campaign announced.
Clinton will discuss her plans to raise incomes for families and break down the barriers that hold Californians back, an aide said.
The Democratic visit comes a week after Republican front-runner Donald Trump spoke at a capacity rally in Orange County while a violent near-riot broke out amid rock-throwing protestors outside the venue. There were 20 arrests. Trump then headed for northern California.
This coming Thursday for the Clinton appearance, doors to the college’s men’s gym will open at 3 p.m., with the event set to start at 4:45 p.m. The public can RSVP at hillaryclinton.com/events/view/CXARLHE67Q7NU7BO
The trip will be the 68-year-old Clinton’s 11th to the Los Angeles area since declaring her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination on April 12, 2015.
