A stretch of Topanga Canyon Boulevard was open again to traffic Thursday following landslides from last month’s storms.

A 3.5-mile stretch of the road, also known as state Route 27, had been closed from Pacific Coast Highway into the Santa Monica Mountains.

Caltrans reopened it late Wednesday after removing dirt, rocks and debris; repairing the road and shoring up the slopes along the route, officials said.
