Metro Gold Line rail service returned to normal Saturday through Pasadena following repairs to overhead electric lines that power the trains.
“Trains resume normal service at restricted speeds with trains every 12 minutes,” Metro posted on Twitter about 5:30 p.m.
Trains shared a single track between Del Mar and Sierra Madre Villa stations, according to Metro spokesman Dave Sotero.
That meant trains ran about every 20 minutes.
The problem was reported about 12:11 p.m. Friday north of the Allen Station.
Gold Line service was halted between the Lake and Sierra Madre stations and shuttle buses were requested to move riders on Friday, the agency reported.
On Monday, repair work on downed lines necessitated single-tracking through the Allen, Lake and Sierra Madre stations.
Those repairs were completed on Thursday, Metro said.
