Visits to Los Angeles County Jail facilities and sheriff’s department patrol station jails will be limited until further notice because of the coronavirus outbreak, the department announced Tuesday.

Los Angeles County Correctional Health Services recommended visitations be limited to attorney and professional visits in response to growing concerns surrounding coronavirus.

“Pursuant to the COVID-19 situation, we are making efforts to ensure the health and welfare of all those who live, work, and visit the county jails and patrol stations,” authorities said.
