John Legend, Jennifer Hudson and Andra Day are scheduled to sing Thursday evening at a virtual fundraiser hosted by Jay Leno to benefit former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

Tickets are priced from $1,000 to $100,000, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service. The donation limit for an individual in a presidential campaign is $2,800, with a contributor who donated $2,800 to a primary campaign allowed to give another $2,800 to the candidate’s general election campaign.

The ticket price is allowed to surpass the individual contribution limit because after designating the first $2,800 for the primary and next $2,800 for the general election, the next $50,000 will be allocated to the Democratic National Committee and the remainder split equally among 15 Democratic state parties in what are considered battleground states in the general election.

Tickets are also priced at $41,100, $5,600 and $2,800 for what is billed by the Biden campaign as, “A Fabulous Evening with Vice President Joe Biden & Dr. Jill Biden.” Jill Biden’s doctorate is in education.

Biden is scheduled to hold a roundtable discussion in Philadelphia earlier Thursday with members of the public “on how to make sure the economic reopening is effective and safe and gets America back to work,” according to the campaign.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to be in Dallas Thursday for what the White House described as a roundtable discussion on a plan for “holistic revitalization and recovery” and to speak at a $580,600 per couple campaign fundraiser.
