Forecasters are predicting a gradual warming trend in Riverside County early this week, the National Weather Service said Sunday.
Sunday’s highs reached 89 degrees in the Riverside metropolitan area, 86 in the Temecula Valley and 101 in the Coachella Valley, according to the NWS.
The Riverside metro area was expected to increase to 94 on Monday and 96 on Tuesday, while the Temecula Valley was expected reach 90 on Monday and 92 on Tuesday. The Coachella Valley was also expected to get warmer, reaching 105 on Monday and 108 on Tuesday, according to the NWS.
Temperatures will slightly drop again starting Wednesday, and will fluctuate a few degrees each day going into the weekend, according to current forecasts.
Overnight lows in the Riverside metropolitan area and Temecula Valley were expected to linger in the 60s all week. The Coachella Valley was predicted to have lows in the 70s all week long, according to the NWS.
