Half of the California National Guard troops that were federalized and deployed to Los Angeles in response to unrest sparked by immigration-enforcement raids in the area will be returned to their normal duties, the Pentagon announced Tuesday.
In June, President Donald Trump ordered that 2,000 California National Guard troops be brought under federal control and deployed to Los Angeles to protect federal facilities and personnel in light of protests that erupted mainly in the downtown area. Another 2,000 troops were later added to that deployment, along with 700 U.S. Marines.
On Tuesday, Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell issued a statement saying 2,000 National Guard troops were being released from federal control.
“Thanks to our troops who stepped up to answer the call, the lawlessness in Los Angeles is subsiding,” Parnell said. “As such, the Secretary has ordered the release of 2,000 California National Guardsmen from the federal protection mission.”
The remaining 2,000 Guard troops and 700 Marines will remain on their deployment to protect federal assets in the area.
The federalization of National Guard troops was repeatedly condemned by Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who decried a “militarization” of the immigration operations in the region. Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta sued the Trump administration challenging the legality of its move federalizing the National Guard, but a judge ruled in favor of the federal government.
I’m just a little unclear how you release 2000 Marines from the Los Angeles area when there was never 2000 Marines in the Los Angeles County there was just 200 2,000 law enforcement wearing uniforms of the Marines impersonating that they were a Marine!

Then he has the audacity to tell me on public sidewalks that I can’t have access to the public sidewalk and I have to move on down the road because of his intimidation and his brutality right. Denny’s going to go get four or five other people and bring them back to the same facility so he can get a trespassing warrant and some God unknown name that he couldn’t figure out whose name it was right.
Here I’m sitting over here on Wilshire boulevard and I’m watching the cops come up in it harass people put them in a handcuffs because they’re sitting on a public sidewalk trying to get them for trespassing and everything else for being on a public sidewalk in front of a restaurant or something makes no sense because they seem like they’re homeless so let’s go and fuck with them anyway right then I see a car parked on the side of the road a traffic controllers got it drive up to the car and ask the guy what he’s doing who matters what he’s doing he’s on the side of the road part. But how you got every monkey in the world thinking of the fucking president of the United States and they have to run the world that way cuz the hatred greed and corruption leads the way everyday for stupidity arrogance and unintelligent
My question is what are you allowed to private to run around the streets with no control no oversight nothing at all.

Why you keep trying to enforce the public to believe that your trespassing them because they’re on public land a public sidewalk a public business like McDonald’s and stuff like that you got to run inside of these places and think you’re the god of the world because hell you’re incompetent to fucking leave the discrimination at the fucking door when you came to work.
