Social workers asked for help Wednesday identifying a man who has been hospitalized since he was hit by a vehicle near Boyle Heights.
The man has been a patient at Los Angeles General Medical Center since May 26.
He was struck in the area of Lorena and Eighth street, according to the L.A. County Department of Health Services, which runs the medical center.
The patient is thought to be about 46 years old. He is 6-feet tall and weights 180 pounds with very short black hair and brown eyes.
