Harbor-UCLA Medical Center sought help Friday from the public in identifying a man brought to the hospital in critical condition.

The unidentified male, estimated to be between the age of 25-35, was found lying in the street near Imperial Highway and Lemoli Avenue South in Inglewood on Sunday, Nov. 9 at about 7:10 a.m., according to hospital staff.

He was in severe distress with swelling and bruising around his left eye.

The man arrived without any form of identification. Hospital staff said attempts to identify him through fingerprint records were unsuccessful.

Hospital staff described the patient as having green eyes, light brown hair, and a thin build. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 128 pounds. His complexion is light, and he may be of mixed race, possibly Latino.

Distinctive features include freckles on his face and nose, a blackened right toenail, and a noticeable birthmark on his neck and throat.

Hospital staff said anyone with information that may help identify him was asked to contact the hospital at 424-306-6990 after hours and on weekends, or 424-306-4434 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
