A broken two-inch gas line at a Temecula business prompted the evacuation of 10 nearby businesses and a street closure Tuesday before it was repaired.
The rupture was reported shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 31800 block of Temecula Parkway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
SoCal Gas was requested to assist at the scene. Roughly an hour later, technicians from the gas company were able to make access to the leak and crimp the break, officials said.
The evacuations were canceled and a temporary road closure at Via Road was lifted.
No injuries were reported.
