CBS will air a second episode of “The Big Bang Theory” for three more Mondays, thanks to the ratings success of its Monday lineup on the opening day of the 2014-15 television season, the network announced Friday.
The move delays the premiere of the second-season comedy “Mom” until Oct. 30, when it will air at 8:30 p.m. Thursdays when “The Big Bang Theory” returns to the 8 p.m. Thursday time slot following the conclusion of CBS’ “Thursday Night Football” package. The “Mom” season premiere had been scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Monday.
“The Millers” will have its season premiere at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 20, following “The Big Bang Theory,” 10 days earlier than previously planned. It will air at 8:30 p.m. Mondays.
