Legendary comedian and former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno will once again come out of television retirement to host a new car-themed show on CNBC, the network announced Wednesday.

The new show, tentatively titled “Jay Leno’s Garage,” will be based on Leno’s already existing web series of the same title and will see the comedian share his passion for all things automotive, according to the network.

“This show will be about anything that rolls, explodes and makes noise,” Leno said. “We hope to highlight the passion and the stories behind the men and women who made the automobile the greatest invention of the 20th century.”

According to CNBC, the “Jay Leno’s Garage” web series has already hit more than 1 million subscribers on YouTube and amassed more than 105 million views.

The television version of the show is expected to premiere sometime in 2015.
