Arnold Schwarzenegger’s surprise visit to Madame Tussauds wax museum in Hollywood yielded a viral video with more than 3.5 million views — and a host of unauthorized YouTube clones.
Posted Wednesday, the video depicts the 67-year-old former governor posing as a wax figure of his T-800 character in his latest sci-fi action movie: “Terminator: Genisys.”
Curiously, the former Governator’s visit was April 9 — more than two months ago. A spokeswoman for the Hollywood attraction told MyNewsLA.com that the Omaze production company was in charge — and didn’t release the video until this week.

In the video, Schwarzenegger frightens visitors, then gathers them back for selfies, and pitches a chance to win these prizes:
- Ride with Arnold to the “Terminator: Genisys” July 1 premiere.
- Drink Schnapps with Arnold at “the exclusive star-studded after-party.”
- Take selfies and get interviewed with Arnold on the red carpet.
- Get flown to Los Angeles and put up in a 4-star hotel.
Part of the stunt was to benefit his After-School All-Stars charity.
On Sunday, the action star premiered the movie at Camp Pendleton Marine base, where he thrilled 1,000 troops and family members with his signature “Predator” line: “Get to da choppa!”
