Twerking and tonguing have been her trademarks, but Miley Cyrus may have to expand her repertoire on Aug. 30.
Cyrus announced via social media that she’ll host the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. The 22-year-old Disney-star-turned-wild-child said: “MTV won’t let me perform … So I’m hosting this year’s VMAs.”
She referred in her Instagram post to a “performance prohibition” after her 2013 appearance with “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke.
