Bill Cosby will answer questions under oath in one the sex-assault allegation cases against him, an attorney said Wednesday.

Cosby will be deposed in October in connection with a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by the comedian at the Playboy Mansion in 1974 when she was 15 years old, according to the woman’s lawyer.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Craig Karlan ordered that Cosby’s deposition be held Oct. 9. The woman, Judy Huth, will be deposed Oct. 15. The location of the depositions was not disclosed.

“We are pleased that we will now be able to move ahead without further delay on Ms. Huth’s case and we look forward to taking Mr. Cosby’s deposition on Oct. 9, 2015,” Huth’s attorney, Gloria Allred, said Wednesday.

Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, could not be reached late Wednesday for comment.

Huth is among more than 40 women who allege that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them.

She alleges in her court papers that she has suffered “psychological damage and mental anguish” throughout her life, but only recently discovered the problems were “caused by the sexual abuse perpetrated by Cosby.”

Her lawsuit alleges sexual battery, intention infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Cosby’s attorneys have denied any wrongdoing by the comedian.
