A suspicious package found at a Century City office building prompted evacuations and a street closure before a bomb squad determined it posed no threat.

The package was reported in a multi-tenant building at 2000 Avenue of the Stars, said Officer Jack Richter of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations section.

At least part of the building was evacuated Wednesday and the street was closed between Olympic and Constellation boulevards, police said.

The building’s tenants include Creative Artists Agency and Deutsche Bank.

The suspicious package was reported at 1:31 p.m. and police gave the all-clear at 8:10 p.m., said Officer Nuria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
