As if we didn’t already know who the next ‘Bachelor’ would be weeks ago.
But, during Monday’s After Paradise, ABC finally made it official nearly one month following the finale of ‘The Bachelorette:’ Ben Higgins is the man.
“It’s incredible,” Higgins told host Chris Harrison of the opportunity. “People like me don’t get opportunities like this, and I never would have thought that this opportunity would be something that I could have and I’m excited. Everything leading up to this has just been incredible.”
It was rumored for a while that Higgins would be the ‘Bachelor’ but then others were also being considered supposedly like Nick Viall and Ben Zorn .
However, it is Higgins who will don the title and take his journey to find love come January.
Higgins was among the final three before being sent home in Kaitlyn Bristow’s season.
As you can see above, Twitter was aflutter with excitement and comments about Higgins.
