Former “Scandal” cast member Columbus Short pleaded no contest Thursday to an assault charge stemming from a knock-out punch he inflicted on a man at a West Hollywood restaurant in March 2014.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Leslie Brown immediately sentenced the actor to 60 days of community labor, 26 anger management classes and three years of formal probation following his plea to one felony count of assault likely to cause great bodily injury.
Short, 33, was given credit for serving 12 days in county jail, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Short left ABC’s “Scandal” last year.
