The adopted daughter of Tom Cruise and ex-wife Nicole Kidman got hitched last month to British IT consultant Max Parker, 22. That we know.
Media outlets were all over the map on why Cruise was absent from the Sept. 18 event, which was first reported by Woman’s Day Australia.
Kidman and Cruise adopted Isabella in 1993 and brother Connor in 1995, but after the famous duo divorced in 2001, both children decided to live with their father.
“Isabella Cruise is a Scientologist, just like her famous dad,” said a StarPulse report. “However, her new husband, Max Parker, does not study the religion … and reportedly hasn’t even met her dad.
“According to Mail Online, only a ‘small group of close friends’ attending Isabella and Max’s special day. Some say that Scientology played a role in who was invited, but others believe that Isabella didn’t want any additional attention from her super famous parents.”
