The latest pop culture icon to back the Democratic presidential front-runner will open for her at an Oct. 24 campaign stop before the Iowa Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner. Among Perry’s most publicized appearances was a televised performance in which she sang and danced surrounded by a couple of dancers dressed as sharks.

Katy Perry will be in Iowa, but the big names will mostly be with Clinton in California.

Singer Christina Aguilera is set to host a Nov. 4 fundraiser for Clinton in Beverly Hills, and actor/director Rob Reiner will host Clinton the next day at a Los Angeles event, according to CNN.

But rival Bernie Sanders has a song for him — based on the melody “Mr. Sandman” — by the group Crackin’ Foxy, which describes itself as a ukulele-driven ensemble featuring close three-part vocal harmony and tight instrumental arrangements.
