‘Bad Blood’ trailer debuts, latest in Batman-Industrial Complex

The latest Batman movie isn’t a star vehicle. “Batman: Bad Blood” is a cartoon. But a Lego version has reportedly added Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, the animated film whose trailer debuted Monday will be available Jan. 19 in Digital HD and Feb. 2 on Blu-Ray.

“The story follows the Bat family’s search for a missing Caped Crusader,” says a description. “In Batman’s absence, can Nightwing keep Gotham from falling off the precipice? When Batman goes missing, it will take the entire Bat “family” – including new additions Batwoman and Batwing – to keep the peace in Gotham City and unravel the mystery behind the Dark Knight’s disappearance.”

Meanwhile, Carey is expected to voice the mayor of Gotham City in a Lego version, expected in 2017.
