When does a taco shop trend on Facebook? When it’s Danny Trejo’s taco shop.
“This is Trejo’s new taco restaurant — a project from Trejo, film producer Ash Shah and Jeff Georgino,” the Times reports. “Trejo actually wanted there to be a hand wielding a machete attached to the sign, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen.”
Trejo, born in Echo Park, is 71 with a long movie rap sheet, including roles in “Breaking Bad,” “The X-Files” and “Sons of Anarchy.” He’s also famed for his razor-sharp portrayals in the Machete series of movies.
“We have 10 different tacos,” Trejo told the Times. “It’s just stuff that everybody likes.”
And he’s sharing images and news via Twitter and Instagram, which in turn are getting Angelenos salivating.
