A script of “The Revenant” signed by Leonardo DiCaprio and director Alejandro Inarritu, a cast-signed poster from “The Big Short” and a “Mr. Robot” photo signed by Rami Malek and Christian Slater will be among the items up for bid beginning Friday in the annual SAG Awards Ceremony Auction.
Bidding on the items will begin at 6 p.m. Friday and continue until 6 p.m. Feb. 8. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s children’s literacy programs. Funds will also support the foundation’s Catastrophic Health Fund and Emergency Assistance Program for performers in need of assistance.
Also among the items up for bid will be:
— a leather-bound “Room” script signed by the cast;
— a “Spotlight” photo signed by the cast and a Boston Globe clipping with embossed notebook;
— a “Transparent” poster signed by the cast;
— an “I Smile Back” poster signed by Sarah Silverman;
— cast-signed posters for “Trumbo,” “Orange is the New Black” and “Straight Outta Compton”;
— an “Annie” poster signed by Carol Burnett;
— a “Poltergeist” poster signed by JoBeth Williams; and
— a “Sicario” script signed by the cast.
Also up for bid will be a trip for four to the Magic Castle in Hollywood an visits to the sets of “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Insider” and “E! News.”
Patricia Arquette, Bryan Cranston, Jon Hamm and Julia Louis-Dreyfus were among the latest performers added today to the list of presenters for the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Also announced as presenters were Abraham Attah, Jason Bateman, Taye Diggs, Keegan-Michael Key, Diane Lane, Helen Mirren, Pedro Pascal, Jeremy Renner and J.K. Simmons.
They will join previously announced presenters Idris Elba, Anna Faris, Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Corey Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Anthony Mackie, Rachel McAdams, Jason Mitchell, Susan Sarandon, Kristin Wiig, SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Brie Larson, Priyanka Chopra, Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore, Eddie Redmayne, Sarah Silverman and Jacob Tremblay.
The SAG Awards will be presented at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Shrine Auditorium.
