Ted Cruz, campaigning on Christian values, was caught with his pants down Thursday. He pulled an ad from YouTube because one of the actresses in it has also appeared in softcore porn.

As Politico reported: “The 30-second ad, titled ‘Conservatives Anonymous,’ … is set during a group therapy session in which conservative voters talk about being double-crossed by Marco Rubio.”
“Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time,” the woman played by Amy Lindsay tells another group member. Lindsay’s filmography includes titles such as “Animal Lust,” “Co-Ed Confidential” and “Carnal Wishes.”
“The actress responded to an open casting call,” Cruz communications director Rick Tyler said in a statement. “She passed her audition and got the job. Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the casting company.
“Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad. The campaign is taking the ad down and will replace it with a different commercial.”
Lindsay previously told BuzzFeed that the Cruz campaign “absolutely knew everything that I have done.” She later called the outlet back to say she “was wrong in that statement.”
Rafael Cruz may have pulled the ad, but that doesn’t get it off the internet. https://t.co/0n1URjptTD
