Broadway’s “Hamilton” has gotten so big, it’s ripe for parody. So Amy Schumer (and her producer sister Kim Caramele) made a sketch of themselves pitching a “hip-hopera” to “Hamilton” creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda.
“Amy Schumer is a genius and I’ll duel anyone who says otherwise,” declared one Facebook commenter.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Miranda “said yes [to appearing] and I thought he was kidding,” Caramele said. “He couldn’t have been nicer and more game. He has so few hours free! I was so grateful he was there.”
