On March 19, James Sain posted a 3-hour video of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performing days earlier at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Now that The Boss has announced a new tour, will the Southland get a double dose?
According to Rolling Stone, “their ongoing River tour … kicks off August 23rd with a two-night stand at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and wraps up September 14th at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, though it’s possible more dates will be added.”
Los Angeles isn’t on this itinerary:

- Aug. 28 – Chicago, IL United Center
- Sept. 1 – Washington, DC Nationals Park

- Sept. 7 – Philadelphia, PA Citizens Bank Park
- Sept. 11 – Pittsburgh, PA CONSOL Energy Center
- Sept. 14 – Foxborough, MA Gillette Stadium
So 9-year-old Xabi Glovsky won’t have to miss classes this fall, as he did at Springsteen’s last visit here.
