Entertainment Weekly said: NBC rapidly canceled five programs in about one hour: Eva Longoria’s Telenovela, sitcom Crowded, thriller Game of Silence, comedy Undateable and medical drama Heartbeat. The cuts represent most of the network’s freshman shows that debuted in the second half of the current broadcast season.”

“Telenovela,” the site noted in “obits,” “starred Longoria as the neurotic star of fictional soap opera. The show debuted in December, and averaged 4.4 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49.”

Latino fans weren’t pleased.
