Johnny Depp, a “true Hollywood Lothario,” is seeing another marriage ending.
Johnny Depp’s wife has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences after a year of marriage.
Court records show actress Amber Heard filed for divorce on Monday and is seeking spousal support from the Oscar-nominated actor, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Heard listed their date of separation as Sunday, according to the newspaper. They have no children together.
Britain’s Daily Mail called the 52-year-old Depp the Hollywood Lothario, saying his dating history “is a who’s who gallery of ‘it girls’ over the last four decades, (but) he is also, famously, a romantic at heart.”
Saying the actor has been married twice and suffered three failed engagements, he “even got the name of Winona Ryder tattooed on his arm in a grand romantic gesture after starring with her in 1990’s Edward Scissorhands.”
The divorce was first reported by the celebrity news website TMZ.com.
