ESPN tribute to Vin Scully: Thanks for the memorable calls

ESPN’s “Wednesday Night Baseball” will feature the Dodgers-Giants game, but the big draw will be a tribute to Vin Scully, retiring soon.

“Scully’s call on SportsNet LA of the entire fourth inning will be played live on ESPN,” notes News OK. “In addition, vignettes showcasing some of Scully’s most memorable calls will be featured throughout.

The Hall of Fame announcer will call his final game Oct. 2, and the long goodbye is well under way.

Vin Scully’s final Dodger Stadium broadcast on Sunday will air on @SportsNetLA and @KTLA in L.A., @MLBNetwork nationally.
