Tom Hanks ran in “Sully” and “Forrest Gump,” but over the weekend in New York City, he made a real-life jog into the lives of Elizabeth and Ryan — and their wedding photographer.

“Ryan, you’re a lucky man,” Hanks said after posing with the couple in Central Park. “Elizabeth, you’re a lucky woman.”

Also lucky: wedding photographer Meg Miller.

Miller told The Huffington Post that Hanks approached them, “took off his hat, just leaned right into the group and said, ‘Hi, I’m Tom Hanks.'” He then shook their hands, kissed the bride’s hand and offered his best wishes.

WGNTV added: “The ‘Sully’ actor shook their hands, kissed the bride before posing for pictures with them. The encounter was captured on video and photos, including on Hanks’ Instagram account.
While the Academy Award winner respectfully declined an invite to the wedding, he offered to marry them if their minister bailed.

“I am an ordained minister; if the guy cancels just let me know,” Hanks reportedly said.

Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.
