Cult comedy icon Dave Chapelle has never hosted “Saturday Night Live.” That drought ends Nov. 12, when he’ll appear on the first episode after the election.

“There’s no doubt the episode will be full of more political commentary, but we’ll also be waiting to see if the comedian brings back some of his ‘Chappelle’s Show’ characters, such as Prince and Lil Jon.”
HuffPost said Chappelle has been mostly out of the spotlight since “walking away from the show and a reported $50 million contract at Comedy Central in 2005.”
Chapelle’s fans celebrated:
Chapelle is one of the reasons i do what i do. he’s a god. he’s one of the most important men in comedy and entertainment and life. period.

Somebody’s going to write a “Here’s why you shouldn’t be excited about Dave Chapelle hosting SNL” article and that person can go to hell.
