Friends and fans of comedian David Spade were worried about his condition Thursday after TMZ and other outlets reported he crashed his Range Rover in Los Angeles.
Several reports said his injuries were minor.
“The ‘Grown Ups’ star was involved in a three-car accident near the intersection of Beverly and Sunset boulevards,” said the New York Daily News, citing a TMZ report. “Spade’s Range Rover was reportedly struck by another vehicle whose driver sped up to beat a yellow light. Spade’s vehicle then spun around and into another car.”
The accident reportedly happened around Wednesday night while Spade was on his way to dinner, TMZ reported.
Us Weekly added: “The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near Beverly and Sunset boulevards in L.A., an eyewitness tells Us. Spade’s Range Rover appeared to be hit from the back and spun around. The passenger airbag was deployed.”
MSN.com reported: “Despite the damage, nobody involved in the accident suffered any major injuries, and no one was taken to the hospital. Spade, however, reportedly plans on getting checked out by a doctor for minor bruises. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been a factor in the crash.”
