‘Nazi hair’ joke blows up for Samantha Bee; target has cancer

Samantha Bee and the producers of TBS’ “Full Frontal” are apologizing profusely for mocking a cancer victim as having “Nazi hair.”

Bee didn’t know that the person shown Wednesday from last month’s Conservative Political Action Conference was Kyle Coddington, who the conservative magazine Outset said had “recently completed his first round of chemotherapy and radiation.”

He sported what Bee depicted as a “flashy” — partially shaved hairstyle that’s cut short on the sides and long on top called a white nationalists trend.

The Washington Post reported that “Full Frontal” executive producer Jo Miller said the show had “apologized to Mr. Coddington and his family members,” and would donate to a crowdfunding account for his cancer treatment.

“We wish him all the best in his fight against cancer and sincerely, deeply regret offending him and his family,” Miller said in a statement.
