Arcadia High School in Phoenix has its own Ryan Gosling. And he should have no problem finding someone to accompany him to the prom.

Recreating the opening scene of “La La Land” (but singing “Valley of the Sun” instead of “Another Day of Sun”), Staudenmaier asked the Oscar-winner to the April 29 event.
One of the video’s 300,000-plus viewers was Scottsdale-native Stone.
She replied to Staudenmaier in a letter:
“JACOB, thanks for making the greatest proposal I’ve ever received. I can’t tell you what an honor that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video. I’m in London working, but I hope you have the best time at prom, and I’m grateful you thought of me. THANK YOU. P.S. I do see Gosling around the eyes. Love, Emma.”
The Hollywood Reporter noted that Staudenmaier has been told by friends that he resembles Gosling in “Remember the Titans.”
Staudenmaier told “Good Morning America” that he has seen “La La Land” three times and appreciated watching Stone “killing it” in the film.
“He was inspired by a former student from his high school who asked Miley Cyrus to prom a few years ago,” THR said, and quoted him as saying: “Being an aspiring filmmaker, I knew I had to be big and ambitious with it.”
Social media fell in love with the story, and Olive Garden pledged to pay for any Emma-Jacob dinner (as vowed in the viral video).
.@upsettrout Here’s to the ones who dream. ✨ We’re rooting for you! If Emma says yes, dinner and dessert is on us. https://t.co/LOemp9B3tm
