“The Simpsons” on Sunday adds to the legend of how Bart, Homer and Company (a Fox property) can poke vicious fun at a Fox News favorite.
This time it’s President Trump under the scalpel, noting his first 100 days.
A teaser video shows:
- Trump in bed with a book on the nightstand: “The Little Book of Big Bombs.”
- Sean Spicer hanged, with a sign pinned to his chest stating, “I quit.”
- Stephen Bannon and Jared Kushner literally strangling each other.
- And Grampa Simpson taken into custody by ICE officers.
“A hundred days in office, so many accomplishments,” Trump says on a show airing on Day 101, noting lowering his golf handicap and increasing his Twitter following by 700.
The clip ends with “Paid for by Anybody Else 2020.”
The cartoon has long bit the hand that hosts it, going after 21st Century Fox patriarch Rupert Murdoch and allies.
