Anderson Cooper’s eyeroll at Kellyanne Conway makes history

The Washington Post called it the “eyeroll to end all eyerolls.” And Anderson Cooper will never see the end of it (when he’s on Twitter).

As the CNN host interviewed White House counselor Kellyanne Conway about President Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey, he “played Conway a series of clips from the 2016 presidential campaign in which Trump lavished praise on Comey.”

Conway — the butt of a recent “Where in the World Is?” “SNL” skit — said: ”Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was on your show often last fall saying we were going to win Michigan and how we were going to do it, so that was fun.”

Then came the roll — quickly appropriated as an animated GIF for social media.
