Universal Studios Hollywood’s Harry Potter attraction will become a little more illuminating this summer when the park unveils a Hogwarts-worthy nighttime light-and-special-effects show.
The show, dubbed “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle,” will accompanied by a musical arrangement created by Oscar-winning film composer John Williams, who composed the music for the “Harry Potter” films. The recorded score light show was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.
According to the theme park, the show will be presented several times a night during the summer months in the shadow of the attraction’s Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The “light projection experience” will showcase the four houses of Hogwarts — Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin — and will culminate with “beams of lights that fan into the night sky.”
The light show presentations will begin June 23.
