For the record, Greta is gone.

Cable-TV wonks, already gorging on the “Morning Joe” Twitter war, found more to chew on Thursday with news that former CNN and Fox News host Greta Van Susteren has been fired from MSNBC after about six months.

Low ratings were being blamed.

The 63-year-old Scientologist previously helmed “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” for 14 years.

MSNBC said in a statement: ”MSNBC and Greta Van Susteren Have decided to part ways. Greta is a well-regarded television veteran and one of only a few broadcasters who can say they’ve hosted shows at all three major cable news networks. We are grateful to her and wish her the best.”

Van Susteren tweeted confirmation: “I am out at MSNBC.”

NBC Washington added: “The network announced Van Susteren would be replaced beginning Thursday evening Ari Melber, the network’s chief legal correspondent and host of ‘The Point’ on weekends.

“Ari is a frequent presence on ‘Today’ and across various MSNBC shows and will continue with those appearances as he takes on his new duties.”
