Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly “pressed pause on their divorce proceedings” in an amazing development.

Even more stunning: A Twitter poll says more than half want Brangelina to stay split.

In any case, E Online broke the story: “Nearly a year after the A-list actress and humanitarian filed for divorce from her husband of two years and partner of 12, a source tells E! News things have come to a standstill. ‘It’s true that the divorce is not moving forward right now. They are taking a breather and seeing what happens,’ the insider explains.”

The Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-stars in recent months have taken a positive step toward a more amicable relationship, the site said.

“Things have settled between Brad and Angelina,” a source told E! News in March. “It’s not as tense as it had been….They recently started talking again and it’s a significant step. Up until now, everything was through lawyers and assistants.”

Pitt joined Jolie and the kids while filming “First They Killed My Father” in Cambodia, and spent Father’s Day in L.A. with them, the site said.

“The whole family needs to heal,” a source told E. “Thankfully both parents are committed to making sure that happens.”

Oh, and that Twitter poll?

Asked “Do you want to see them back together,” about 51 percent of 5,600 respondents said no. The rest said yes as of Friday afternoon.
