Pow! Crash! Real-life superheroes are coming to the desert.

Original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter, Bionic Woman Lindsay Wagner and even Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee will all be at this weekend’s Comic Con Palm Springs that begins Friday afternoon.

It’ll be three days of celebration of the comic book and film industries’ characters and behind- the-scenes professionals.

In addition to Carter, Wagner and Lee, other major names slated to appear through Sunday are actor Corbin Bernson, whose wife, Amanda Pais, has a recurring role on the CW series, The Flash, and who will also be at Comic Con; SpongeBob SquarePants voice actor Tom Kenny; comic artist Rob Liefeld, and many more.

Organizers say they expect nearly 25,000 people to attend this year’s convention, which opens to the public starting at 2 p.m. Friday, then 10 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Friday’s events will include the Comic Con Zombie Walk, maze room, and panels featuring some of Friday’s most seasoned artists and voice actors.

Other events scheduled through the weekend include a musical performance by Lynda Carter, the Comic Con Palm Springs Fashion Show, costume contest and a live script reading of “Back to the Future” by a full lineup of voice- acting veterans.

Tickets starting at $35 for one-day or $60 for all three days remain available at the door or online http://comicconpalmsprings.com/buy-tickets/ . Kids 12 and under get in free.
