Anthony Bourdain served red meat to right-wing media when he said he’d cook the poison hemlock for President Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un if given the chance.
The CNN celebrity chef and traveler was joking when queried by a TMZ reporter, later telling Fox News that he meant to say “kale.”
But conservative outlets ate Bourdain alive for the throw-away comment.

BOYCOTT CHEF ANTHONY BOURDAIN. He said he’d poison Trump’s food if he catered for the President. WORDS SHOULD HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

Threatening to poison POTUS food. Will CNN take any disciplinary action or hide behind a weak statement like ESPN https://t.co/qcHScHKyKr
