MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell hammered after leaked cussfest

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell is being called unhinged, an abusive bully and accused of “absolutely losing his mind” after a leaked tape shows the anchorman cussing out staff.

Mediaite, which obtained 8 minutes of outtakes from an Aug. 29 show, said the footage shows a furious O’Donnell “absolutely going bananas in what appear to be breaks in his show.”

“The MSNBC anchor [is seen] fuming about earpiece malfunctions, blasting off obscenities and screaming at his staff,” the media watchdog site said.

Within hours of the tapes being posted, O’Donnell tweeted: “A better anchorman and a better person would’ve had a better reaction to technical difficulties. I’m sorry.”

But right-wing outlets and figures had a field day at the expense of the left-wing host.
